I was introduced to oil painting when a friend took me to class with her in the basement of Kay Miller's house. Kay taught oil painting to "little old ladies" of all ages who simply wanted to relax, visit, and enjoy painting. "Big Delta Barn" was my first real painting. I remember every stroke of the brush, and yet feel as if someone else painted it. I'm not sure where it originated. It didn't take long though, for me to realize that I wanted to learn more, more, more. And soon I was off to art school… and beyond!
